Huobi Research of Blockchain Application generates a weekly cryptocurrency market review report called Huobi Research Weekly. This week, the overall market capitalization for the top 100 cryptocurrencies declined, with 94 projects decreased in value to varying degrees.

According to coinmarketcap, as of December 2nd, 2018, the total market cap of the top 100 cryptocurrencies was 128.8 billion U.S. dollars, increased by 10.32% from last week, among which, CENNZ had the largest increased of 147.03% and its market cap ranking rose to No.74. In addition, there were 3 projects that entered TOP100, namely, CENNZ (increased 147.03%, now No.74), ELA (increased 65.06%, now No.88), BTCP (increased 63.84%, now No.89).

As of December 2nd, 2018, Bitcoin was traded at 4135.67 USD, 9.73% higher than its price last week. Ethereum was traded at 116.18 USD, 7.67% higher than its price last week.


The overall 24h trading volume decreased this week. Overall, the 24h trading volume decreased by 7.11% compared with the same period of last week. In this week, 42 of the top 100 projects decreased by more than 20% in 24h trading volume, of which the highest was INB, with a decrease of 93.85%; there were 26 projects that saw over 20% increase in their 24h trading volume, of which the highest was HC, with an increase of 8828.01%.

The top 10 cryptocurrencies’ market share distribution remained stable, with BSV ranking No.8. On December 2nd, the overall market cap of the top 10 cryptocurrencies was 114.09 billion USD, up by 9.02% from last week, accounting for 85.11% of the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies, similar to last week. As of December 2nd, BSV became the 8th largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization. BTC’s dominance was 53.69%, down by 0.42% from last week.
