This Week:

1) This week, the number of active Bitcoin addresses decreased by 4.1% to 3.81 million, including 1.37 million new addresses, increased 0.7%. There were 1.93 million transactions happened on Bitcoin this week, up 0.7% compared to that of last week, reaching another 6-month high. Concentration of Bitcoin slightly
decreased this week, mainly caused by a net outflow of 40,000 BTC from a Binance cold wallet.
2) There were overall 31.27 million transactions on EOS this week, increased 32.4% compared to that of last week.
3) EOS DApp activity increased by 36%. EOS>TRON>ETH in terms of total number of in-DApp transactions.

Social Media Data:
Bitcoin, Ethereum, BCH to be the top trending in China, Bitcoin, BCH, EOS to be the top trending overseas; In the Events category, “Bifurcation”, “Contract” and “Computing power” were the hottest words in China, while “Scam”, “Bot robot” and “Decentralized” were the hottest words overseas; in the Exchange and KOL category, “Huobi”, “Binance” and “ZB” were the hottest in China, while “Coinbase”, “Binance”, and “Satoshi” were the hottest overseas.

Among Github repositories, ETH, BTC and EOS were the top Cryptocurrencies projects that received the most stars in a week; EOS, ADA and BCH were the projects that received the most watchers in a week; IOTA, ETH and ADA were the projects with the most code commit submission this week.

Market Trading Data:
In the cryptocurrency market this week, the price of Cryptocurrencies decreased. The trading volume increased dramatically. BCH experienced the largest decrease of 28.58 %; In terms of trading volume, NEM has the largest increase of 247%.

 

1. On-Blockchain Data
1.1 Active Bitcoin Addresses

This week, the number of active Bitcoin addresses decreased by 4.1% to 3.81 million, terminating the consecutive 7 weeks’ increase.

There were 1.37 million new Bitcoin addresses created this week, decreased by 6.8% from last week’s 1.47 million.

 

1.2 Bitcoin Transactions

The overall transaction volume on Bitcoin network was 5.41 million BTC, decreased by 11.2% from last week’s 6.09 million. There were overall 1.93 million transactions this week, increased by 0.7% compared to last week, reaching a new high for the past half a year. The average trading volume per transaction decreased by 11.8% to 2.79 BTC this week.

 

1.3 Bitcoin Transaction Fee

The overall transaction fee on Bitcoin network increased from 117 BTC to 132 BTC this week. Average transaction fee was 0.00007 BTC, increased by 12.9% from last week.

1.4 Concentration of Wealth on Bitcoin

Concentration of wealth on bitcoin drastically decreased. Top 10 addresses held 5.46% of all Bitcoins, 0.27% less than last week, which mainly resulted from the net outwards transfer of 40000 Bitcoins from Binance’s cold wallet; top 10-100 addresses held 0.13% more Bitcoins than
that of last week; top 100-1000 held 0.01% less Bitcoins than that of last week; other addresses held 0.13% more Bitcoins than that of last week, reaching 64.24% of all Bitcoins.
