Vol.28: Bitcoin active address was 3.87 million, 7.9% more than the number of last week

This Week:

  1. The number of active Bitcoin addresses continues to rebound this week for two consecutive weeks. The number of new addresses increases slightly and the number of large transfers decreases this week.
  2. The number of active addresses in Ethereum decreases this week. The amount of on-chain transfers and transactions decrease to varying degrees, and the number of large-scale transfers decreases.
  3. The number of EOS on-chain transactions has increased, and the number of new addresses has increased significantly. DAPP activity has decreased.

In the field of digital currency, Bitcoin, EOS and Ethereum are the most popular in the country; BTC, DASH and XRP in foreign countries. In the field of hot events, the top three domestic hot topics are “rebound”, “bear market”, and “bull market”, and top three foreign topics are “Long”, “SCAM” and “Mining”; in the exchange and currency circle KOL field, domestic Huobi, ZB, Binance occupy the most community attention, and the top three abroad are Coinbase, Binance, BITMEX. 

In the cryptocurrency market this week, the price of major cryptocurrencies all increased to varying degrees, with the largest growth of BCH, and the smallest growth of NEM. The most obvious growth of transaction amount is BCH, the most obvious decline is TEZOS.

1.1 Active Bitcoin Addresses
The total number of Bitcoin active address was 3.87 million, 7.9% more than the number of last week, up for two consecutive weeks.

The number of new addresses created this week was 1.21 million, up 1.6% from 1.19 million last week.

1.2 Bitcoin Transaction


The transaction volume of the Bitcoin on-chain was 7.649 million BTC, a sharp drop of 12.7% from 8.765 million last week. The number of on-chain transactions was 18.6 million, up 5.1% from last week. The average amount of BTC per transaction decreased by 17% from last week to 4.11 BTC.

1.3 On-chain Bitcoin Transaction Fee

This week’s total transaction fee has dropped, from 168.9 BTC last week to 150.3BTC. The average transaction fee per transaction was 0.00008 BTC, down 15.3% from last week.
