Huobi Research of Blockchain Application generates a weekly cryptocurrency market review report called Huobi Research Weekly. This week, the overall market capitalization for the top 100 cryptocurrencies declined, with 94 projects decreased in value to varying degrees.
According to coinmarketcap, as of November 25th , 2018, the total market cap of the top 100 cryptocurrencies was 116.77 billion U.S. dollars, decreased by 33.58% from last week, among which, ETP had the largest decreased of 69.88% and its market cap ranking dropped to No.75. In addition, there were 2 projects that entered TOP100, namely, MGO (decreased 16.77%, now No.78), QKC (decreased 5.54%, now No.85).
As of November 25th, 2018, Bitcoin was traded at 3768.79 USD, 32.64% less than its price last week. Ethereum was traded at 107.90 USD, 38.62% less than its price last week.
The overall 24h trading volume increased this week. Overall, the 24h trading volume increased by 11.82% compared with the same period of last week. In this week, 31 of the top 100 projects increased by more than 20% in 24h trading volume, of which the highest was BCD, with an increase of 1150.99%; there were 35 projects that saw over 20% decline in their 24h trading volume, of which the highest was NPXS, with an decrease of 83.26%.
The top 10 cryptocurrencies’ market share distribution remained stable, with USDT surpassing LTC, which became the 7th largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization.
On November 25th, the overall market cap of the top 10 cryptocurrencies was 104.66 billion USD, down by 33.37% from last week, accounting for 86.39% of the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies, similar to last week. As of November 25th, USDT surpassed LTC, which became the 7th largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization. BTC’s dominance was 54.11%, up by 1.17% from last week.
